The project GenerAZIONE2026 – Sport Powered by Youth and Education is realised by the FICTS (Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs, the only Federation of the sector recognised by the IOC – chaired by Franco Ascani – Member of the IOC Commission for Culture and Heritage) with its 130 affiliated countries, for an initiative desired by the Veneto Region, which – together with Lombardy – will host the Milan Olympic and Paralympic Games – Cortina 2026, thanks to the sensitivity towards young people, the far-sightedness and support of the Councillor for Education Elena Donazzan, a project conceived by the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso-Belluno | Dolomites , chaired by President Mario Pozza, the support of the Chamber of Commerce of Verona, chaired by President Dr. Giuseppe Riello, and in collaboration with the Regional School Office for the Veneto Region of Marco Bussetti, in order to guarantee new horizons to the world of school through the values of sport in projection of the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The priority objective of the Project, for young people, is to highlight the spirit of Olympism, according to the lines of the IOC (International Olympic Committee) Culture and Olympic Heritage Commission, through an educational and training action that allows them to acquire active lifestyles in which sport is intended not only as a vehicle for promoting psychophysical wellbeing, but also as a tool for social inclusion and integration, directly involving – with free registration – the young people of the ‘2026 Generation’ as protagonists also in the role of ‘volunteers of the Games’ for a total of 10. 403 students from 31 schools in Treviso, Belluno and Verona.
A cycle of initiatives to inspire the new generations and to offer training and professional paths in the field of major events to share with girls and boys the path towards the next Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games Milan Cortina 2026.The initiative is part of the working tables organised within the Veneto in Action Programme promoted by the various stakeholders of the territory.

The training project ‘GenerAZIONE 2026 – Sport Powered by Youth and Education’, articulated on different proposals for Schools, became part of the ‘Education Gen26’ Programme of the Milano Cortina Foundation, which officially recognises that FICTS activities in Schools are part of the 2026 Games Programme.
