Italian and foreign undergraduates and postgraduates have until Thursday, August 31, 2023, to participate in the call for applications for the ninth edition of the Landscape Scholarships, established annually by the Benetton Studi Ricerche Foundation to support young graduates eager to undertake research in the field of landscape and garden culture, and the care of places.
The fellowships are directed to three thematic areas that correspond to the cultural profile and field of operation of three figures who have been fundamental to the Foundation’s scientific work since its establishment: Sven-Ingvar Andersson (Landscape Design), Rosario Assunto (Landscape Theories and Policies), and Ippolito Pizzetti (Nature and Garden).
The 2023/2024 edition will feature two residential and semester-long fellowships (Jan. 15, 2024-July 15, 2024), each corresponding to one of the three thematic areas, at the candidate’s choice.
Preference will be given to proposals with original, innovative content, consistent with the Foundation’s scientific direction and capable of exploring and enhancing themes belonging to its recent history.
The value of each scholarship is set at 10,000.00 euros (gross).
