Pieve di Cadore, 27 May 2024 – Balance sheet solidity, innovation, sustainability: Galvalux, a leading company in the galvanic treatment and painting sector based in Tai di Pieve di Cadore, was awarded first place in the SME category of Motore Italia Veneto Awards 2024, the initiative dedicated to the country’s most dynamic companies organised by the Class and Milano Finanza circuit. The award was collected by Francesco De Polo, vice-president of Galvalux, during an event held a few days ago in Vicenza at Palazzo Repeta alongside the protagonists of the regional and national economy.
‘It is an award that gives us great pleasure because it rewards our entire journey and the team that made it happen,’ says De Polo. In fact, the award took into consideration all of the company’s ‘vital’ parameters, starting with the economic, asset and income parameters. ‘We have always believed that one does not do business only with the profit and loss account, paying close attention to asset management. This has allowed us to prepare a gradual investment policy that has never failed even at the most critical times,’ explains De Polo.
Galvalux, for example, has never shied away from investing in ‘green’: ‘It’s a credo of ours: we are always looking for eco-sustainable solutions, aimed at eliminating waste, recycling air and water, and co-generating thermal and electrical energy. We try to anticipate the times and the markets,’ De Polo points out.
But at Galvalux, innovation is also social as well as technological with internal welfare measures – dedicated to the approximately 100 employees – and actions in favour of the territory, such as the continuous support to associations and the crucial support to the Pieve di Cadore ice rink, now known as the ‘Galvalux Arena’, increasingly a place open to all sports for the entire population of the valley.
‘Galvalux is proof of how much our manufacturing fabric is made up of excellence, of which we should be proud,’ says Lorraine Berton, president of Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti. ‘Sustainability and innovation are part of the DNA of our valleys and are the best guarantee for a future of real growth.’
