Belluno, December 9, 2024 – Olympics, skills, employment: a new phase begins for the Tourism Section of Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti, which recently renewed its Board of Directors, appointing Marco Grigoletto as its leader. Grigoletto is already President of Anef Veneto and Vice President of Funivie Arabba.
The section brings together the entire provincial tourism supply chain, from hotels to logistics, including cableway systems and services.
The tourism sector is becoming increasingly strategic for the Dolomites and the entire territory, which, with the Olympics, is called upon to make an unprecedented effort, emphasizes Grigoletto. The Milan Cortina 2026 Games will be our great testing ground, but more importantly, the beginning of a new phase for Belluno’s tourism.
This new phase, according to Grigoletto, must be characterized by continuous skills development and the ability to attract new resources: In the coming months, there will be an increase in the demand for professional profiles, including the most specialized and qualified ones. This means that, starting now, we must coordinate effectively to retain talent but also bring new energy to the territory. Our Section is ready to engage with all relevant stakeholders.
The training challenge will therefore be a priority: – Human capital will make the difference; the tourism sector, like the manufacturing sector, must also address the digital and green transitions – Grigoletto underscores. He highlights the numerous initiatives launched by Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti specifically in the tourism sector, ranging from advanced training courses at the Luiss Business School hub for the Northeast, to ITS Turismo, and the innovation projects launched as part of the Dolomiti Innovation Valley, such as the sensor-equipped ski slope in Falcade.
Supporting Grigoletto as Vice President of the Section and additional representative on the General Council will be Ellen Broccolo (Fly Bus Srl). The new members of the Board of Directors are Adele Colle (Doriguzzi Srl), Davide Dallabona (TH Resorts), and Mauro Vendruscolo (Impianti Falcade Col Margherita Spa). Renzo Minella (Faloria Spa) and Cristian Moretti (Alleghe Funivie Spa) will represent the Section in the Small Industry Committee.
I wish President Grigoletto and the entire new team a successful tenure; now more than ever, we need new energy to prepare ourselves in the best possible way for the Olympics, our appointment with history, – states Lorraine Berton, President of Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti.
