The shows in English “Circus“, “Charlie Charleston” and “The importance of being Earnest“, in Spanish “Hola!” and in German the Compagnia Officina delle pezze’s production with “Die WEISSE ROSE” held in Feltre, Agordo Cencenighe and Belluno, gave students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of foreign languages, following didactic paths shared with their teachers and mother tongue actors from all over Europe and beyond.
The success of this initiative continues to grow over time and gives students the opportunity to approach foreign languages in an experiential and certainly lighter and more entertaining way, without losing the didactic input. Thanks to these theatrical workshops, the student-spectators, in addition to deepening their vocabulary and literature, have the opportunity to engage directly with the culture and traditions that emerge during the performances, which are often lost in the written text in favour of the linguistic input. A workshop therefore not only of language but above all of foreign culture.
Every year the commitment of the Review is repaid in seeing so many students and teachers satisfied and grateful for this consolidated appointment that gives emotions and is a reason for growth and learning with a strong experiential slant.
Encouraging the diffusion among the younger generations of structured courses aimed at learning foreign languages is part of the long-term strategy of the Circolo Cultura e Stampa Bellunese, which is already working to define the programme of the next Review, in the hope that it will be an aspiration and a significant example to offer our territory.
